In what was formerly Art and Antique Bazaar, MJQ Owner Ben Rhoades and MJQ Managers Armando Celentano and Donald Durant, are in the process of transforming the 7,500 square foot space into a  "Brooklyn-inspired gastropub” restaurant.

“We’re opening a nicer restaurant than anything else in East Atlanta Village,” Rhoades said in an interview Tuesday

I'm not sure what the trio mean by "nicer" per say.  Although I do love nearby restaurants like Six Feet Under, nice doesn't exactly come to mind when I think of EAV.  Hopefully these guys can change that, they sure have upgraded MJQ in a major way recently.

That is a huge building space and I look forward to see what they come up with. The name of the restaurant has not been released yet but it should be up and ready for dining around Fall of this year.
