Boarding house residents displaced by fire | News
ATLANTA -- A southeast Atlanta boarding house was completely destroyed by fire Tuesday morning.
The fire was first reported at around 4:30 a.m. at a house on Bixby Street SE.
An Atlanta Fire spokesperson said three people were inside the home. They all escaped, but two of them were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The Red Cross has been called to assist the occupants.
A fire official said the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
