ATLANTA -- A new concept in Atlanta's East Lake neighborhood will ensure that more residents have access to fresh local produce.

The East Lake Urban Farm will be introduced during an event at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13.

The farm, which was created in cooperation with the Southeastern Horticultural Society and the East Lake Farmers Market, was made possible by a grant from the DeKalb County Board of Health.

Check out the new farm, which is part of the East Lake Community Learning Garden at 56 2nd Avenue SE.
