SweetWater 420 Festival returns to Candler Park | Arts & Culture
ATLANTA -- Atlanta's favorite Earth Day celebration will once again grace Candler Park in April.
The 9th annual SweetWater 420 Festival will begin Friday, Apr. 19 and includes plenty of fun for everyone, such as activities, live music, food trucks, a Kid Zone and, of course, SweetWater beer.
"SweetWater 420 Fest is a unique opportunity for us to blend entertainment with environmental awareness for the entire community to come together and enjoy," festival promoter Jennifer Bensch said in a statement. "We've worked hard to organize an exciting array of talented performers who embody the SweetWater culture, plus an engaging lineup of eco-friendly activities that will include a little something for everyone."
This year's musical talent includes George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic; Robert Randolph & The Family Band; Black Joe Lewis & The Honey Bears; the Mosier Brothers; and the Bitteroots.
SweetWater 420 Fest will be held through Sunday, Apr. 21. Admission is free; a drink wristband costs $5 per day.
