New LEED Certified Model Home Built in Reynoldstown Tomorrow | Families
Atlanta, GA-- The 1st model home for nearby planned Legacy Pointe development in Reynoldstown is all set for its ground-breaking. It will be showcasing that it is affordable, and LEED-certification-eligible and will be hoisted in sections into place on prepared foundation on Tuesday 10/26th. The home will serve as sales center , and others to come.Neighbors will experience some temporary street closing to allow a crane and other heavy equipment to move quality-controlled, factory-built home sections from truck bed to foundation. Sections will be joined and finishes applied during the coming weeks to achieve the ultimate architecturally compatible look to blend in with surrounding vintage homes.
WHY: The cost of building environmentally sustainable homes before now has largely priced them beyond the reach of most first-time homebuyers and many professionals such as police officers, teachers and firefighters. A unique partnership between Atlanta-based RRC and NWH has created a new line of Essential® Housing that uses NWH’s unique systems approach to construction to keep costs in check.
This model home will become the first showcase for this pioneering breakthrough.
