"Fourth Fridays" Art Walk in the Old 4th Ward takes place Tomorrow at StudioPlex

Atlanta, GA--  On Friday, September 24 from 6-9 p.m., Studioplex, the live/work community in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward, will host its next ‘Fourth Fridays’ monthly Art Walk www.Studioplexlofts.com.

Every last Friday of the month, art lovers and collectors are invited to Art Walk to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and discover exciting new artists in the heart of Atlanta. This month, Art Walk guests are invited to join ERSLA (Emergency Response Services for Latin America www.ersla.org) at a special fundraiser featuring art, live music and dance exhibitions highlighting the diversity in Latin America culture.

At this free ERSLA event, ERSLA hopes to raise awareness about the need for simple ceramic water filter systems for families who currently do not have safe drinking water. For every $50 donated ERSULA will purchase a complete water filter system for a family in need. In addition, 20% of the sale of any artwork sold this evening will be donated to the ERSLA project. The water filter systems will be delivered to the families by local Nicaraguan firefighters who set them up over the holidays.

In addition to the visual art, beginning at 6 pm the Latin band “Apu Inka” will perform, followed by Latin Dancers at 7 p.m.; The Darin Seldes Band will close out the evening with a special tribute to Santana.

This month’s Art Walk will include the following artists: Lariadi, Beverly Molander, Craig Henderson, Lava Moon, Kaz, Arwen, Ruksana Hussain, Marissa Kaye, Angie Wehunt, Afi Green, Lorikay Stone, Shellton Labron Tremble, and Drea James.
